Mayor Firhad Hakim stated that a five-story building was constructed on one cottah of land at 52A Mahendra Dutt Street in Ward 50 by tampering with Kolkata Corporation's documents. The fraud has been detected by the police and the court. He emphasized that Kolkata Corporation will no longer be a "Chorporation" (a play on words implying corruption), which is why all services have been made available online. The detection of fake documents in this case serves as an example of that initiative.
